Croxetti, an ancient Ligurian specialty in the shape of small discs, were decorated on both sides with a special mold, made of wood or iron, which reproduced a decoration, such as an arabesque, flowers or masks. To the decorations, the nobilty usually added the coat of arms of the family. Excellent with the traditional Walnuts Cream, they are one of the most popular first courses in Liguria.
