Chestnut honey

Description

Its color is amber and its flavor is intense with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Extremely energetic, full of glucose and fructose is produced by bees that take advantage of the chestnut flower nectar. Chestnut honey is produced in the period between mid-June and late July. In cuisine chestnut honey gives its best in combination with fatty products and cheeses where will have the protagonist’s part; it should be considered when you want to highlight contrasts between sweet and bitter but paying more attention to use it where you want the honey remains muted.
