Basil Pesto with DOP Genoese Basil “Old recipe”

Respecting the traditional recipe of the Ligurian west, we prepare the Genoese Pesto by combining the DOP Genoese basil , fresh and selected, our extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, DOP Pecorino cheese and sea salt.

Typical seasoning of traditional Ligurian cuisine, made with Genovese Basil, ideal to enjoy with the “trenette”, the famous Ligurian pasta, (diluted with two tablespoons of cooking water or olive oil), but also on rice, on crostini … following the imagination. These are the ingredients of a quality basil pesto.

Shelf Life: 24 months from date of manufacture
